| | On the second day of our Alberta trip we left the hotel early and drove to the famous Lake Louise:

My first impression about this lake was: "Wow, this is so clear, did an angel from heaven left a piece of mirror here?"
Named after princess Louise, fourth daughter of Queen Victoria of England, Lake Louise attracts million of visitors each year, from all over the world.
Many Japanese visitors come here for skiing, hiking and shopping, so some of the souvenir shops actually have staff who can speak fluent Japanese. (My goodness, why don't they have anyone who knows fluent chinese.)
Downhill skiing was not available in the summer, but kokoni and sister took the ski lift up the mountain and looked at Lake Louise from high above:

The building in the background is a famous world class resort hotel, Chateau Lake Louise. I went inside the hotel to look around and it was beautiful, but too expensive for my budget.

The night view is magnificent too:

Many tourists choose canoeing and horseback riding to explore this neighbour, but I just want to queitly appreciate the beauty of Lake Louise and breathe in some fresh air, which I never get from the big city of Toronto.
