Overview

Everyone has that experience sending someone a card. You open the card, but you have no idea what to write.

There is so much to say, but what to put down? Oh well, same old, same old: "Thank You," "I love You," "Forever Yours."
Yikes, maybe it's best to just not send the card at all.
When Love in the Cards was first published, the world had just entered the age of the Internet. Back then, cards were still a popular medium of communication. The cards that Jimmy Liao makes are always accompanied by text. They are both cute and playful, and equal parts mocking and sorrowful. No matter how the times change, the cards are always warm to the human touch and full of curiosity about the world, making the recipient anything but capable of resisting a smile. Even though it is becoming more and more difficult to write cards, these cards, drawn and written by Jimmy, remain a joy to behold. It almost seems magical in the way that it draws the world closer together.
