Overview

Rediscover the freedom within your heart

An ordinary middle-aged man comes across a fish that smiled at him. He brings it home, and the two seem to enjoy each other's company. In a dream, he saw the fish swim out to the streets, and he follows the fish all the way into the sea. Suddenly, he found himself just like the fish, trapped in a transparent glass bowl. After he wakes up, he set the smiling fish loose back to the ocean as he rediscovers the freedom in his own heart.

Award-winning animation, the first adapted from the picture book A Fish That Smiled at Me by Jimmy Liao.

We went tipsily into the tale, laughing with the fishes and dancing with the host. We returned to the ocean with the fishes and the host, every one of us a fish with a smile.
