First Bank is launching the installation art Kiss & Goodbye: A Journey Through Time in collaboration with Jimmy Liao at its newly-restored, century-old Yilan Branch in 2024. Jimmy Liao's Kiss & Goodbye serves as the inspiration for the street furniture and 3D art piece next to the bank. It highlights the uninterrupted flow of time in this space as day and night, light and dark, and bustle and quiet revolve in an infinite dance. From today onwards, everyone is invited to appreciate the beauty of public art from diverse perspectives. Set out on a journey that bridges past, present, and future alongside Jimmy Liao's characters. Discover people and things you cherish in your life.

The Yilan Branch has operated in the same location for over a century. The historic building shines again after refurbishment and the story of Kiss & Goodbye breathes new life into the venue's nostalgic memories. The soothing atmosphere of the installation art gives the bank a brand-new look. This is also the first time Jimmy-inspired installation art is showcased alongside a historic bank. The piece adopts a vintage palette to match the rejuvenated First Bank Yilan Branch and blend in with the building—a fantastic fusion across space and time. Additionally, a roadside bench with First Bank's logo are set up for passersby to sit and relax. Tram seats from the story are turned into a sofa bench and a floor lamp that combine Japanese and Western, modern and vintage styles, as to engage in a conversation with the historic building and its surroundings, connecting past, present, and future. This also aptly conveys the legacy and innovation of First Bank's Yilan Branch.

The owl and protagonists Woody and Pudding from Kiss & Goodbye will be waiting for you at the First Bank Yilan Branch from today onwards.
