Introduction
The outdoor art installation exhibition, "2024 Jimmy Singing Tainan—The Moon Forgets," debuted today (January 20) at the square of the Xinying Cultural Center! The exhibition will run from now until March 24. Every day, the lights will be lit from 5pm to 9pm. Come join us for a pleasant walk at the Xinying Cultural Center.
We once asked our friends or Jimmy’s readers, which of Jimmy's picture books was their favorite? The Moon Forgets was always among their top three choices. This story is full of warmth and imagination, and it has quietly made its way deep into our hearts. This year, Jimmy's team was invited to organize the "2024 Jimmy Singing Tainan—The Moon Forgets" outdoor art installation exhibition for the Xinying Cultural Center. In order to showcase the diversity of reading interests in Tainan and strengthen people's connection with culture, we combined the image of the interconnection between the moon and the little boy in Jimmy's The Moon Forgets with the Xinying Cultural Center and its square. The exhibition also links several local festivals such as Tainan 400, 2024 Taiwan Lantern Festival in Tainan, and Yuejin Lantern Festival.
This year, 2024, is also the 25th anniversary of The Moon Forgets. We hope that through the uplifting story of the fallen moon and the little boy, we can provide comfort to the people and turn it into courage. This is also a year of fresh starts and restoration. Let us use the bright and adorable moon to emit a gentle light that helps people forget their fears and reconnect with their inner child through the innocence and bravery of the moon and the little boy. The moon and the little boy will have many different surprises for everyone, which fans won't want to miss!

During the exhibition, Jimmy's moon window stickers will be placed at the entrance of the Xinying Cultural Center, and a wall with famous scenes from the book will be set up at the side entrance of the square so that visitors can take pictures and share them on social media.
